Well, I've had my Super Slice for about 2 or 3 months and I LOVE it. It's my first phone ever and sofar, I'm loving it. THe Super Slice is really durable. It's really slim so it slips outof your pocket really easily and it has never broken or anything. The keypad is kind of small so it's hard to text normally so I recommend texting T9 with this phone like I do. The camera is incredibley good for a phone and the memory is awesome. I just don't like the games it comes with some ofthem are just plain boring and some are not good for kids. I mean, my old Game Boy Advance SP has better graphics (game wise)! The only other thing that I don't like bout this phone is that sometimes when I go on the internet (which, BTW, is awesome and really fast) it freezes up and I have to take the battery out and put it back in to fix it. Other than that, I give this phone two thumbs up.

Personally, I don't really reccomend the WIld Card. It was on my Christmas wish list untill I read the reviews for it. It looks like it's a peice of junk. I wanted it because I didn't think that I'd get hooked on texting like I did so I wanted a full keyboard phone. Anyway, all in all, I reccomend the SS. My next phone is going to be the Shuttle or the X - tc.

i curently have the wild card & i hate it its horible the keys dont work very well theyre really slipery tiny & 4 some reason theyre almost round b4 my wild card i had the super slice i was looking for an upgrade (not that the super slice is bad i always want something better) so i got the wild card & that was 1 of the biggest phone mistakes that ive ever made so id say that the super slice is better less expensive & just a quick word of advice NEVER GET THE WILD CARD

I currently have the wild card and don't like it. It's good if you can be super careful with it but I dropped it once and now the piece that switches it to the front screen is broken and i have to shove something in the hole constantly (wadded up paper, end of a bobby pin, etc.) to make it switch screens when i close it. It also falls open because the axis cracked too. I loved the phone when I got it but it isn't very durable. the camera isn't the best but I haven't found a VM phone that has a decent one. I'd watch the CNET reviews first. they helped me a lot.

The Wild Card is much better. The Super Slice is boring and not very attractive. The Wild Card is cool and is much better for texting. Also the Wild Card looks way cooler!

Most of virgin moble's phones have the same basic menu. The main difference is the style of the phone itself. The slice comes in more colors. The wild card is more expensive, but again, has the qwerty keyboard. The super slice is a candy bar phone that doesnt flip or slide or anything. Other than that, both of these phoner are pretty much the same.

I would go with the super slice just because its thin and better looking. The qwerty keypad on the wild card is good if youre a heavy texter, but the super slice (in my opinion) is more impressive. Plus, the slice is 30 dollars less expensive.

this phone is cool..... i guess..... i have it and i am happy with it. you cant really download stuff from the internet like ringtones... i've tried. but other than that its a great phone...... i know mine turns on and off by itself....... weird right?? well yeah its a good phone. dont buy the WILD CARD!!! its not worth it!!!! i wanted it and i realized by the reviews it was really bad. so in comparison, buy the super slice if you want a good phone.

answer 3
If you are in a low signal area battery life is horrendous, I've had it drain the battery from full charge in less than 8 hours sat in my office where it got a week or no signal. You can feel it getting hot as it tries to get a signal. I took it back and exchanged it thinking it was faulty but the new one did the same thing. Ended up getting the cheaper Aloha which always gets a signal in my office and battery lasts over 3 days.

If you use it 4 or 5 times a day you could easily go a week before you need to charge it.
If you use your super slice alot, 5 maybe 6 day before the battery dies.

yes, the keypad does lock. you have to click on "menu", "settings", "security", enter your lock code (the default is the last 4-digits of your phone number, only if you never selected a code before otherwise i hope u remember your code), select "key lock", select whatever time period you want it to lock after the last button you use on the phone. also, there are some other features under "security" that you might want to manipulate as well.
