NEW! The Overdrive Pro and the U600 USB Stick are both now Windows 8 and Mac OS 10.8x** compatible.

The Broadband2Go software is compatible with Windows (7, XP, Vista and 8**) and Mac OS (10.5x, 10.6x, 10.7x and 10.8x**). You'll also need administrative rights on your computer to install the software and drivers.

To attach the device to your computer, you'll need an available USB port.

**NOTE: The software on the U600 device does not support Windows 8 or Mac OS 10.8. A software download from the Virgin Mobile website is required. Do not follow the installation instructions provided with the device. Download the U600 User Guide and follow the installation instructions in the User Guide for Windows 8 or Mac OS 10.8.

I have a HP Envy m6-1125dx, and I haven't had any problems yet! Recently I was visiting my parents in Bardstown, KY
My younger brother has an older version. He helped me set my account. I never had to bother Customer Service. I have
used the Customer Service about 3 times. Very helpful people. They answered all my questions. My wife is the one that
wanted this service. She is also real happy with it. My laptop does have Windows 8.

Yes it can. There are two ports on the bottom edge of the device. One on either side of the micro USB port. They are neatly covered by sliding covers. They are easy to use, cover well and cannot be lost. Finding a correct antenna might be a little hard thou.

Requirements for a USB Tethered Connection
Your device (Overdrive Pro) supports a direct connection through a USB cable to a Windows or Mac computer. (This is commonly referred to as a “tethered” connection.)

Yes. I had this same question before I bought this. Phone support that I called said it would worked but could not tell me how. After buying it I can say it was easy to connect. Epson Xp-300 worked in seconds. Airprint from idevice to printer required almost no setup thru this overdrive pro. I just put both devices on the same wireless network and tried it out. Since this is more than a hotspot, it has router hardware along with a 3G modem and a 4g modern. Read up in the online owners manual up in the faqs & guides tab above. Read close and you will find info that I too overlooked the first read thru. Even one page of first bunch has an icon showing a printer. Good luck.

answer 2
Sorry, the Overdrive Pro will only provide web access within the USA.

Broadband2Go devices use the Sprint Nationwide Network which only extends throughout the US, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The VMUSA BB2G devices do not roam across other networks either. For these reasons Broadband2Go devices cannot provide web access when located outside the USA. There is no option to make Broadband2Go work outside the USA.

No. You can use it just 1 day out of the 10 days if you want. Say you buy it September 1st...it'll expire September 10th and you'll lose every MB that you didn't use. If you use all 100MB on one day or before the expired date, then you'd have to buy another 10MB if you want to continue using Broadband2Go.

Virgin Mobile answered your question in the FAQs:

• If I'm currently on a Virgin Mobile BroadBand2Go $10/$20/$50 plan, will I be able to keep my plan?
Yes. If you bought a $10/$20/$50 plan before 7/4/12, you will be able to keep your plan at this time, unless you switch to another plan or until the plan is discontinued. However, if you are on one of these plans, you will not be able to enjoy 4G speeds, even if you have purchased a 3G/4G device. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/mobile-broadband-plans/broadband-2-go/overview/#faqs

• Yes, if you're currently on a Virgin Mobile BroadBand2Go $10 plan the 10 days are consecutive.

• The Broadband2Go $10 plan has expired and is no longer available to new customers.

If you reach your 3G limit, you will have no more data until you renew. If you reach the 10GB 4G cap, it will slow down to about 256k until next month or next renewal.
