The Broadband2Go plans with a Broadband2Go device such as the Overdrive Pro provides a mobile, wireless internet connection for laptops, notebooks, desktop computers or other computing devices.

You don't need a smart phone to use the Overdrive Pro. The Overdrive Pro uses the Sprint network to get data from the internet wirelessly. The Overdrive Pro then connects to a computer via Wi-Fi or a USB cable to provide an internet connection.

Sorry, any money in a Virgin Mobile phone account cannot be transferred to a Broadband2Go account.

For the most accurate answer click 'SUPPORT' at the top of this page and ask Virgin Mobile's Customer Care.

WHAT IS BROADBAND2GO?
The Broadband2Go plans with a Broadband2Go device provides a mobile, wireless internet connection for laptops, notebooks, desktops or other computing devices using Sprint's 3G and 4G WiMAX data networks. It does not provide television signals.

BROADBAND2GO VS. CABLE INTERNET
Keep in mind that your wired internet service may provide some services that Broadband2Go doesn't such as a home page, email, and other services. Your current wired internet service is much faster, more robust, and can provide more data every month than Broadband2Go. But wired internet service is not mobile like Broadband2Go. Broadband2Go is the best choice when you need internet access away from home or the office or where hotspots and wired internet service are not available.

Broadband2Go provides MOBILE wireless internet connections for computing devices like laptops, tablets, phones, game consoles, etc. Although Broadband2Go can replace wired internet connections the plans are very expensive for that purpose. Wired internet connections can provide more data, faster speeds, and stronger uninterrupted connections than Broadband2Go. On the other hand, wired internet connections are not mobile.

BROADBAND2GO PLANS
There are 3 Broadband2Go plans: $25 per month, $55 per month, and $5 per day.

- The $25/month plan provides 1.5GB of data at 3G and 4G LTE or 4G WiMAX (depending on your device) speeds during your month*.
- The $55/month plan provides 6GB of data at 3G and 4G LTE or 4G WiMAX (depending on your device) speeds during your month*.
- The $5/day plan provides 250MB of data at 3G and 4G LTE or 4G WiMAX (depending on your device) speeds for 24 hours*.

*These plans are available for current 4G/3G devices like Overdrive Pro, U600 AND Netgear Mingle devices as well as 3G-only Broadband2Go devices(MiFi
2200, Ovation MC760, and PEEL). 4G WiMAX service only available on the 4G WiMAX/3G devices in areas covered by 4G WiMAX. 4G LTE service only
available on the 4G LTE/3G devices in areas covered by 4G LTE. Data access will stop at the end of your plan period(i.e. 1 month or 1 day) or when your
data limit is reached(i.e. 1.5GB, 6GB, or 250MB). You should experience full data speeds while your plan is in effect or until your data limit is reached; data
speeds will no longer be slowed with the Broadband2Go plans.

It's as secure as you make it. You can configure the Overdrive Pro security features in several ways. And the 3G/4G WiMAX network is encrypted for security, too.

Neither. If services are started on the 15th, the monthly payment date will be the 15th of each month. See the following legal stuff for more details.

Payment Date based on- Start Date: For monthly recurring plans, the payment due date will be the same date the month services are initially started or, the last calendar date of the month (29th, 30th, & 31st), as applicable. For example, if services are started on the 15th, the monthly payment date will be the 15th of each month, unless services were started on the 29th, 30th, or 31st, then your monthly payment date will either be the same date or for months with fewer than 31, 30, or 29 calendar days respectively (Feb. April, June, Sept., and Nov), may result in varied payment dates depending on the length of those months.
