I say the Rise is better because it has the most advanced Android platform, the 1GB processor, the touchscreen, the QWERTY keyboard, and the package comes with a 2GB card included so you can download apps and music and other stuff! So the Rise is better.

No, it just means you do NOT have any commitment to this company unlike AT&T and Verizon all require you to have a Commitment. (for 2 yrs.) No contract means, you can change provider any time you want to.

answer 2
No contract means that you can leave without paying an early termination fee.

• Find your phone COVERAGE on the top line of this webpage.
OR
Follow the link at this FAQ: http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3164/kw/coverage

Be sure to select your coverage interest such as 4G, data coverage, or voice coverage.

• Phone reception is not just a function of the phone. It is also dependent on location, obstacles like buildings, and proximity to cellular network towers. Virgin Mobile USA phones and broadband devices use ONLY the Sprint Nationwide Network which extends throughout the US and do not roam across other networks. The Sprint Network is concentrated mostly near large cities.

"Coverage is not available everywhere and varies based on a number of factors. Our coverage maps provide high level estimates of our coverage areas when using your device outdoors under optimal conditions. Coverage isn't available everywhere. Estimating wireless coverage and signal strength is not an exact science. There are gaps in coverage within our estimated coverage areas that, along with other factors both within and beyond our control (network problems, software, signal strength, your wireless device, structures, buildings, weather, geography, topography, etc.), will result in dropped and blocked connections, slower data speeds, or otherwise impact the quality of services. Services that rely on location information, such as E911 and GPS navigation, depend on your device's ability to acquire satellite signals (typically not available indoors) and network coverage. E911 services also depend local emergency service provider systems/support. Estimated future coverage subject to change."
