Thanks. Im on my 3rd replacement Intercept. All which experience problems of random crashing and decreasing memory after all preinstalled apps are updated plus about 5-7 additional apps, memory drops below 40% and slowly decreases. Ive reformatted a few times and get the same memory problem and slowness with the decreased memory

It has 4gigs of internal space which 1gig is left for the user to tinker with. In terms of apps to install they don't take much space and my current intercept has the usual apps with about 200mb of internal which 1gig is 5x the space. I am not official on this as the phone is not out, I just took a look at a review on the version for sprint which has the same specs so no one truly knows until the 15th when it is released.

No all you need to do once you buy it is go into the app store select "my apps" and slide over to "all" and then it will have all the app's you ever installed using you're goggle account. You won't have to rebuy anything, and it also saves all the contacts you've had saved to your Google account.

No, if you use the same Google Account on this phone, you won't have to repurchase apps.

answer 3
You shouldn't have to. Purchases in the app market are registered to your google account. So as long as you sign in with the account you used on your previous phone, you shoudn't have to re buy apps.

It helps you line up the camera when you're taking a self portrait so you can see yourself and be sure you're aiming the camera at your face and not off to the side.

All Android phones can be locked with a passcode, pin, or pattern you draw on the screen. The only thing you can get to without entering it is an emergency call screen that lets you dial emergency numbers like 911.

I'm pretty sure it's plastic, but the touch screen still works like an iPhone screen would, rather than, say, a DS screen. It picks up on your finger rather than pressure, so you don't have to worry so much about using your nail and scratching it.

How much does it cost to change phones minus the cost of a new phone?

VM does not charge a fee to swap to a new phone, however, i believe that any new smartphone purchased after may 27, 2012 (with the exception of the older ones such as the optimus V and the venture) will be subject to current rate plans, so if you have the old $25/mo for 300 mins/unlimited data & text plan, it will automatically update you to the current rate for the same plan which is $35/mo. from what im understanding, the grandfathered rate plan will NOT apply to the newly released smartphones. but aside from the change in the monthly rate plan, there is no fee other than the cost of the new phone.

Question
does it have adobe flash player

answer 1
Yes it does have flash player. I just got my Elite today. Adobe Flash Player 11.1 is pre-installed. Exact version is 11.1.102.59. This is a legitimate question because some low-end Android phones don't have a fast enough processor to run Flash. The Elite does. The Samsung Intercept (Android 2.2) I upgraded from couldn't run it.

as far as i know, android does not have an app capable of doing this. any capability like this would require some sort of outside device or service. Have you looked into Square (www.square.com)? its a free device that plugs into your android phone or iphone and for a nominal fee can be used to swipe/process credit card transactions for those who need the occasional portable ability to process credit card transactions (i.e. those who do odd jobs or who take on side work outside their normal job like hair stylists etc).

Question
Optimus Elite or HTC Evo 4G?

Unless you have good 4G WiMax coverage where you live and work, get the Elite. It's half the price and works well. WiMax where available works well outdoors, but is problematic inside buildings (particularly larger buildings with steel framework) due to its high frequency. 4G also drains the battery much faster than 3G.
