The Broadband2Go plans with a MiFi 2200 provides a mobile, wireless internet connection for laptops, notebooks, desktops or other computing devices. Software compatibility will depend on your computing device and the software.

• Your Mac or Windows PC must be Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g enabled to connect to the MiFi 2200.

Manage Wireless Network Activity – MiFi Device Settings
MiFi Device Settings: Allows you to manage, monitor, and customize your Wi-Fi Mobile Broadband connection through an easy-to-use interface when the device is in Wi-Fi mode (that is, without the use of the USB cable). page 5

Your Virgin Mobile account is setup using a browser window. The MiFi 2200 is also configured using a browser window. The MiFi 2200's device drivers will be downloaded to your Mac or Windows PC from the MiFi 2200. You must use a Mac or Windows PC to setup your Virgin Mobile account and configure the MiFi 2200.

Once you've created a Wi-Fi hotspot with your MiFi 2200 you should be able to access the web with any Wi-Fi enabled device.

Sorry, no. Broadband2Go works strictly within the USA.

Broadband2Go devices use the Sprint Nationwide Network which only extends throughout the US, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The VMUSA BB2G devices do not roam across other networks either. For these reasons Broadband2Go devices cannot provide web access when located outside the USA. There is no option to make Broadband2Go work outside the USA.

No, as long as your computing device is WiFi-enabled. You may need a Mac or Windows PC to set up your Broadband2Go account and configure your MiFi 2200.

Does your computing device meet the requirements for the Ovation MC760? If not, consider the MiFi 2200 or the Overdrive Pro.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Ovation MC760
• Mac Requirements: Mac OS X, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 only
• Windows* Requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7; PDF Reader
• Your Mac or Windows PC must have a USB port available to connect to the Ovation MC760 device.

Your Virgin Mobile account is setup using a browser window. The Ovation MC760 is also configured using a browser window. The Ovation MC760's device drivers will be downloaded to your Mac or Windows PC from the Ovation MC760. You must use a Mac or Windows PC to setup your Virgin Mobile account and configure the Ovation MC760. The Ovation MC760 can only be used by one Mac or Windows PC at a time although it can be moved to other computers. The Ovation MC760 does not create a Wi-Fi hotspot.
