Questions & Answers for Samsung Galaxy Reverb

Question
could I update this phone if I wanted to?

The phone will actually notify you in the top bar area when an update is available and will ask you to update or you can wait till a bit later. If the SYSTEM update is needed VM will post it in the phone features area where you can find the virtual phone manual.

Thankfully enough, it lets you know when there is an update for it, just as though it was an update for an app. It'll even bug you to update it if you try to do it later, so it's kinda helpful in that way, and the updates are quick as far as I've had. If there is a 4.0.5 or higher that VM is trying to give, then they'd list it on the phone area on the virtual manuals, and you can always check there, but otherwise, the phone lets you know. :)

no

• System Update: 3 Way Calling
There's no additional charge to use the 3 Way Calling feature, however you'll be charged standard rates for both calls while you're connected to both calls.
For example, if you're on the Pay As You Go plan, and you're talking to a friend, you're being charged $0.10/min for that call. If you make a second call without dropping the first call (to use the 3 Way Calling feature), you'll be charged $0.20/min since you're on two calls at the same time ($0.10 per min, per call).
If you're on the Monthly plan with a limited number of minutes, a minute will be used for each call for each minute of talk time. http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5756/

• System Update: 3-Way Calling Supported Phones

The phones below will support 3-Way Calling:

Phone                                                    Date Available
iPhone (Virgin Mobile)                               Immediate

Samsung Galaxy SII (Virgin Mobile)              1Q13

http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5754

• 3 Way Calling is not supported on any other Virgin Mobile, payLo, or Beyond Talk phones.

answer 2
No. Minutes are not counted if you have either the $55/month Beyond Talk plan or the $40/month payLo plan.

Otherwise, minutes for calls within the US, incoming & outbound, will be deducted from your monthly allotment on your account according to your plan; there are no free mobile-to-mobile, Virgin-to-Virgin, weekend or night calls for any Beyond Talk nor payLo plan.

To screenshot, hold back button, and lock/power button at the same time. It should screenshot.
I used to have a Galaxy Fascinate, which had Android 2.1, and it did screenshot. Not only phones with Android 4.0 can do it.

Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Reverb comes with Android 4.0. Android 4.0 is the first version that includes screen shots. You must download a screen shot app for phones with earlier Android versions.

try removing your micro sd card from one phone and inserting into your reverb, then uploading the file

answer 2
That depends on your phones' features. Some phones let you transfer contacts, music, photos, etc. using USB cables, microSD card, Bluetooth, etc. There is no standard method between all brands/models. You may need to use a computer.

There is no way to download or export the contacts from the Kyocera S2300. Using Outlook or Google Contacts you may be able to import your contact list to the Samsung Reverb.

• Sorry, no. Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA.

Virgin Mobile USA phones use the Sprint Nationwide Network which extends ONLY throughout the 48 U.S contiguous states, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The Virgin Mobile USA phones do not roam across other phone networks either. For these reasons the Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA and when located outside the USA, will not send/receive calls or messages nor provide web access. There are no options available to use Virgin Mobile USA phones outside the USA.

• Virgin Mobile USA phones don't use SIM cards.

With Android 4.0, press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time. You should see an animation on the screen, indicating that the screenshot was saved. Android will save the screenshot to your Gallery. Launch the Gallery app and tap Screenshots to view and share your screenshots.

If you mean straight to the phone, go to any website that has music downloads from your mobile browser and tap download. You can also purchase music from Google Play. Google Play Music also lets you upload your entire music library from your computer up to 20,000 songs and lets you access from just about any web connected device.
