Question
Is this phone better than the HTC One V?
I am trying to decided between this phone and the HTC one, if you can help me that would be great! So far I feel like the HTC ONE V would be better. Anyone who has had the HTC ONE in the past if you could help me out in this decision that would be great

the htc one has a slightly lower rating, does not have a front facing camera, has a non removable battery, a smaller processor(1.4ghz on the reverb vs. 1ghz on the one), but it does have beats audio, and costs less

Sorry, no. Look for "Daily Mobile Hotspot" on the FEATURES & SPECS tab. Virgin Mobile occasionally changes their phones, devices and plans.

► You need the following to create a Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11):

1. One of the Beyond Talk plans ($35, $45, or $55 per month)
2. The $15 per month OR $5 per day Hotspot option in your Virgin Mobile account
3. One of these Beyond Talk phones:
(uses 3G network only) Apple iPhone 4s, Kyocera Event
(uses 4G LTE and 3G networks) HTC Desire, Kyocera Hydro Vibe, LG Optimus F3, LG Volt, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy SIII,
Samsung Galaxy Victory

Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on 'Change My Plan'. From there you can
see the plans and options that are available for your phone.

Virgin Mobile USA doesn't take trade-ins or do upgrades. You can trade or sell your Chaser elsewhere though.

Question
could I update this phone if I wanted to?

answer 1
The phone will actually notify you in the top bar area when an update is available and will ask you to update or you can wait till a bit later. If the SYSTEM update is needed VM will post it in the phone features area where you can find the virtual phone manual.

answer 2
Thankfully enough, it lets you know when there is an update for it, just as though it was an update for an app. It'll even bug you to update it if you try to do it later, so it's kinda helpful in that way, and the updates are quick as far as I've had. If there is a 4.0.5 or higher that VM is trying to give, then they'd list it on the phone area on the virtual manuals, and you can always check there, but otherwise, the phone lets you know. :)

answer 2
No. Minutes are not counted if you have either the $55/month Beyond Talk plan or the $40/month payLo plan.

Otherwise, minutes for calls within the US, incoming & outbound, will be deducted from your monthly allotment on your account according to your plan; there are no free mobile-to-mobile, Virgin-to-Virgin, weekend or night calls for any Beyond Talk nor payLo plan.

The manual reports the device is an MicroSD/ MicroSDHC device, but also list that the phone will accept 64GB cards, which are MicroSDXC type Flash memory. SDHC cards go up to a maximum Size of 32GB, SDXC have a theoretical max size of 2TB (2048GB). or do you think the 64GB statement was a typo (Now I feel like my friend's retired electrical engineer dad)

To screenshot, hold back button, and lock/power button at the same time. It should screenshot.
I used to have a Galaxy Fascinate, which had Android 2.1, and it did screenshot. Not only phones with Android 4.0 can do it.

answer 2
Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Reverb comes with Android 4.0. Android 4.0 is the first version that includes screen shots. You must download a screen shot app for phones with earlier Android versions.
