No. The battery last for about 2 hours if you have it constantly open. With my old phone if i had it closed I could have it on for about 5 days. SERIOUS! I love this phone but it really needs a better battery.

i read all the others saying the batt is very bad, or poor, i have not had that situation, i use my for texting mainly, and a little voice, not much; the battery only needs charging every other day, thats not 'poor' or 'very bad'. the battery will of course depend on what youre doing with the phone -how long, and how much large data youre downloading. lots of web means lots at battery needs. very little data need, like straightforward texting means little juice and few charges. Voice usage might be sort of in the middle. IMHO

I tend to agree with everyone who has said battery life is very bad. I had VM send a replacement battery because I thought there was a problem with the battery that came with the phone. I haven't had any luck with any battery. Some days I can keep a full charge for the entire day. Other days, I have full bars in the morning and then the LOW battery beep at 2:00 in the afternoon. It's very frustrating.

The TRUE life of the battery is less than 3 hours. I did a test of the new TNT vs my old Audiovox phone and I used the TNT for 1 hour and my battery was already starting to show low. If you buy this phone you would need a car charger. My old phone was still at full charge when left on overnight on stand-by mode. Sorry VM, but I am returning the TNT to Radioshack for a refund.

Have only had the TNT phone for a few months and am already thinking of replacing it. Battery life is terrible. My phone goes dead after only three or four hours on standby. I thought it was an anomoly particular to my phone or that I might just have a bad battery, but it sounds like it's a problem with the phone or battery itself.

I got my TNT 2day, and when I took it out of the package the top was alittle lose. It wiggles alittle. But besides that its great.

My phone was great - until I took a 4 hour walk in the rain with it! It got wet and that killed it (it wasn't on). I was surprised that a little wet would ruin it but it is def. toast.

What am i replacing it with? The same phone! It's very cheap and simple and I like that - I can't blame it for not wanting to swim.

This phone is quite durable if you don't abuse it like get it wet or smash it against something. I've dropped it several times. The outer case is like a rubberized plastic which doesn't scratch or scuff easily.

I've had it for two months as a temporary phone, Its still going. Honestly, I decided to make it my permanent phone because my favorite feature is that I can assign ringtones to any individual contact's text message. That comes in handy. Honestly, I plan on keeping it. As far as breaking easily? I drop it all the time.

In my experience, yes. I'm pretty careful w/ my phone. I have had it for months, but all of of sudden a piece fell off when I opened it. Now it tries to fall apart every time I open it.

not really. i have had it for like a year almost and it still pretty much works and beleive you me i am not very nice to it. i have duct taped it and painted it with nail polish and all this crazy stuff. the only problem i have had is when i charge it now (and it has been happening for about a month) i have to toggle the cord a little

I've had this phone for over a month now and it is REALLY durable! I've dropped it dozens of times - even on concrete. It only has a small scuff on the outside of it that is barely even noticeable. I would say the durabilty of this phone is an 8.5 out of 10

not really see i had my tnt for 5days and it hit the tile floor in my apartment and it didn't break sooo... yeah this is a newer version of the marbl but sweeter! cause i had the marbl phone it broke easily!

In my opinion, the TNT! is like the marbl, but faster. i barrowed the marbl for a few days and it was sooooooooooo slow it felt like time stood still. So i saw the TNT! and brought it, it was soooooo fast. Thank god i brought it when i did because i was getting fustrated with the marbl

The MARBL was a great little phone for the price; I'm still using one, and quite happy with it. However, it is no longer sold, as far as I know. Kyocera makes good phones; I also have a JAX and like it, but not as much as the MARBL. The TNT is newer and even better. Seems like you can't go wrong with Kyocera.

I had the Marbl phone for almost 3 years. I remember I had to get a new one like 5 months ago because the warranty expired on the phone. I love TNT better than Marbl because TNT is much thinner, text messages send faster, internet comes up quicker and Marbl is just too slow. And the TNT keys are easy to press without accidently pressing the wrong keys. I still have the Marbl phone. I would just give it away since no one thinks its worth anything. TNT is a great phone mainly because of its convience.

The TNT is WAAAAAAy faster; the Marbl, which i think the worst phone in ten yrs, is sooooo painfully slow its unsuable for someone who texts alot, or wants to read news/data on the wap 2.0; it is so slow i threw it out of the window on the Dan Ryan in Chicago- i couldnt get the thing to text fast enough for my work needs, the TNT is faster, keeps up, easier only 5 or 10 bux more, and is wonderful in the texting arena. The data download time, for text based stuff, like news and weather, is ok, but the super slice and wild card are the fastest for data downloads; they are pretty much as fast as the 3g shuttle. i have had the best (wildcard) and i have had the worst (marble or k9) and this TNT is more on the better side, than the other. The TNT is about 25% thinner and the keys are easier to use. The external display is better because you can see who is calling without opening the phone-this is nice because you do not have to disable "open to answer" to avoid answering unwanted calls. All in all a much better phone and still very reasonably priced.

The TNT is much lighter to hold or pack. I can type texts much faster with the TNT than the Marbl I had before the TNT. The keypad is smooth feeling, good sized keys. The VXL browser screen on the TNT shows how many kbs of data transfer when pages load. AND, the TNT has a lot more storage space than the Marbl has, like 29megabytes compared to just a few on the Marbl which means a lot of storage for graphics, ringtones, etc. The 'highlight' function on web pages needs to be easier to see on the TNT, on some pages almost invisible, and I was unable to send email with my MSN mobile (the screen would roll while typing and it wouldn't send) but that could just be a bug with my phone and not apply to all TNT's. I could send mobile emails with the Marbl but it was slower to type on, it lagged behind my typing speed. I love the TNT on every point better than the Marbl, except that fluke with my mobile email. And I like the flat bottom on the TNT that allows it to sit flat on a table while browsing or texting instead of holding it to type. The Marbl is flat bottomed too.

The TNT. My Friend has the Wildcard and the phone always is slow. Also the Wildcard doesnt feel that durable. The TNT is really fast and feels durable. Ive dropped my TNT on the ground hundreds of times, and all i got was 3 scratches on the back of the phone. If your a heavy Txter, you might want to get the wildcard, but im a heavy txter and i got the tnt, and i txt faster than i do on the wildcard.

I think this is made by Kyocera as it is indicated on the phone. I have now three kyoceras in the past, and I think they're not really very durable. It will break somehow after a year or two of usage. Next time I will opt to buy Motorola or other name brand that is probably more durable than Kyocera.

It is kind of unpredictable... I usually charge it every day, and most days it will stay charged for a full day on standby if I don't make any calls. I have also left it on for 48 hours straight before the battery indicator showed that it was starting to get low. Other times, I have had it go dead in a matter of 4 or 5 hours, without making any calls, after being fully charged. I wish the battery life were more reliable and predictable because now I feel like I can not depend on it. My old Kyocera Oyster had great, and predictable, battery life (until the display died).

I bought my TNT 5 months ago and it would last 2/3 days between charges. Today 5 hours and low battery alarm, Very functional but excessive power consumption or underpowered battery!

It'll last all day but if you plan on going away for the weekend with out your charger, then forget it especially if you text all the time. When the battery is about to die, it starts vibrating... which is odd because you'd think that would use more battery.

the battery life is good but it goes out to two lines by the end of the day
