Can I switch between the PayLo plans?
Would I be able to get the $20/month plan for a few months and then switch to the $30/month plan if I plan to use more minutes a certain month?

Yes, but there are some things that you need to know before switching plans.
• Here is your answer from the Help FAQs at http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com

You can change plans as your needs change as long as your account is active. And you will lose any unused minutes when you switch plans. So it's a good idea to use up all your minutes before you make the switch, according to the Help FAQs. Note that you will not be able to return to any expired plan (no longer offered) if you decide to change plans.

• Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on 'Change My Plan'. From there you can see the plans that are available for your phone.

Sorry, no. Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA.

Virgin Mobile USA phones use the Sprint Nationwide Network which extends ONLY throughout the 48 U.S contiguous states, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The VMUSA phones do not roam across other phone networks either. For these reasons the Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA and when located outside the USA, will not send/receive calls or messages nor provide web access. There are no options available to use Virgin Mobile USA phones outside the USA.

Can you set up non-roaming for calls?
I have an airave for my other phone (sprint service) and my current virgin mobile phone always connects to Sprint when I try to make calls (so it registers as roaming and I'm unable to make any calls unless I turn my signal booster off for sprint). Very annoying! Does this phone have a roam/non-roaming feature so that I can program it to not roam so I can use it on the virgin mobile service without having to unplug the signal booster for sprint? Thanks

There is no "roam/non-roaming feature" on Virgin Mobile USA phones since Virgin Mobile has locked all their phones to the Sprint network and cannot roam.

• payLo plans are not available on the smartphones from Virgin Mobile.
• Phones from other carriers will not work with payLo plans.

Choose one of the payLo plans and pay for it every month. You'll get the number of minutes according to the plan that you choose.

• When you run out of minutes before the end of your month, additional minutes for the monthly plans are 10¢ each. Basic Rate minutes always cost 20¢ each. Charges for additional minutes come out of your Virgin Mobile account. Use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card(s), credit/debit card, or PayPal account to add money to your Virgin Mobile account before you run out of minutes.

To see or add to the balance in your Virgin Mobile account on your phone select MY ACCOUNT on the menu or click TOP-UP at the top of this page.
