Question
Transferring pictures from this phone via hooking up to a PC or emailing the pictures?
Which is easier to do when taking pictures with this model of phone? I am considering buying this phone and switching out my old VM phone.

PC. Your phone will appear as a USB drive when connected to a PC. Drag and drop files to/from the phone on your computer.

Transfer of funds.
I now have a Virgin Mobile phone and want to purchase a Samsung Montage - can I transfer the money still left in my original phone to the new phone? How about contacts??

• Yes, the money in your Virgin Mobile account will be transferred when you swap phones.

You can change plans as your needs change as long as your account is active. And you will lose any unused minutes when you switch plans. So it's a good idea to use up all your minutes before you make the switch, according to the Help FAQs. Note that you will not be able to return to any expired plan (no longer offered) if you decide to change plans.

• Contacts, photos, and downloads will remain on your old phone. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any way to transfer contacts. You should read your user manuals for ways to transfer contacts.

is the samsung montage screen 1.4" or 2.4"?
on the product description you say it's 1.4" screen. Is this a mistake??

Well, that's a good question. The manufacturer's site says Main Display Size 2.4" x 3.2". Virgin Mobile will tell you 1.4" and stick by that answer.

You get a fixed number of minutes every month depending on the payLo plan that you choose. Use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card(s), credit/debit card, or PayPal account to add money to your Virgin Mobile account to pay for your plan every month.

All the payLo phones are compatible with the Assurance Wireless plans. You can buy Virgin Mobile USA phones on this website, elsewhere online, or at a local store. It doesn't matter where you buy the phone as long as it is one of the payLo phones mentioned. The current Beyond Talk phones will not work with Assurance Wireless plans.

Messaging Packs are not available to new customers. They were available with the Pay As You Go plans several years ago.

If you have an old Pay As You Go plan then you may have Messaging Options. To change your Messaging Settings, Sign In to your account on the Virgin Mobile site. Then go to the Phone, Apps & More tab. Click Edit Message Settings. On the first line you will see your currently selected Messaging Option. Below you will see available Messaging Options. Pick the one that is right for you and then hit the Update button. The amount for your new Messaging Option will be deducted from your account.

Sorry, no. Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA.

Virgin Mobile USA phones use the Sprint Nationwide Network which extends ONLY throughout the 48 U.S contiguous states, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The Virgin Mobile USA phones do not roam across other phone networks either. For these reasons the Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA and when located outside the USA, will not send/receive calls or messages nor provide web access. There are no options available to use Virgin Mobile USA phones outside the USA.
