I've owned this phone for a week now, and have not been able to figure it out! Some people have said to press the power button and the volume button, I have tried this and a combination of all the buttons and nothing works for me. If someone does know how, I wish they would post the exact directions, because it does not work on my phone.

Sorry, there are no family plans here. It is not possible to add another line to any account nor share minutes. Each phone gets its own account.

Question
can i use awe phone with my assurance wireless

No, not the AWE. You must use a PayLo phone, none of which are Android like the AWE. The LG Aspire is a PayLo phone that can be used with Assurance plus it has wifi and camera.

How do you like Assurance wireless? I chose VirginMobile basic talk over Assurance because of my low usage. Unused minutes not only roll over but remain as cash balance that can be used to buy a new phone. I'm considering the LG Aspire because I have enough unused cash balance to buy it. I pay $20 every 3 months and always have minutes/money left to rollover.

answer 2
No. The Awe is an Android phone.

► Virgin Mobile answered your question in the Assurance Wireless FAQs:
Can I use an Android™ phone with an Assurance Wireless account?
No, an Android™-powered phone cannot be used with an Assurance Wireless account

► The Assurance Wireless plans will appear when setting up any payLo phone.
You can see the current line of payLo phones at:          http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans/overview/#overview

You can find other answers on the Assurance Wireless website at: http://www.assurancewireless.com/

answer 2
No. It's very hard to find any information on the Virgin website about their mobile hotspot feature. I had to find out about it on another website! This is what it says in their FAQ: "Currently, Virgin Mobile only offers the Mobile Hotspot capability on the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and HTC EVO™ V 4G." Unfortunately, it's only the most expensive phones. One of which is out of stock, another they don't seem to offer anymore. I will be going with another carrier.

Question
Why doesn't the "Compare" feature of the site say there is no expandable memory?
When I compare this phone to others on the site, phones such as the Reef say "Expandable Memory up to 32GB (Not Included)" under Memory, but for the Awe it only says "1 GB RAM / 4 GB ROM". Can someone confirm that it definitely has expandable memory/SD card slot?
