When I buy a new phone will the money currently i my account transfer over?
I do not currently have a pay as you go account i have a minute by minute account

You can do a phone swap at any time without losing a single minute. You only lose minutes if you change plans. When you do a phone swap everything inside your Virgin Mobile account will be transferred to your new phone such as phone number, plan, minutes, and any balance in your account.

You will be asked to change your plan if you do a phone swap across payLo to Beyond Talk or Beyond Talk to payLo phones. In such a case, you will lose the minutes for your current month and you'll have to pay for the full month.

Group texts are part of Apple iPhones. There are similar apps available for Android phones.

That depends on the features on your new and old phones. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any facilities to transfer contacts. Transferring contacts falls to the features of the sending and receiving phone such as VCF files, USB cable, microSD card, Bluetooth. Some phones let you transfer contacts, music, photos, etc. using USB cables, microSD card, Bluetooth, etc. Syncing Google Android and Apple iTunes accounts are also useful. There is no standard method between all brands/models. You may need to use a computer.

Call blocking is not available on Virgin Mobile. But the caller's phone number will appear on-screen while the phone is ringing. Their name will appear on-screen if their phone number is in the Contact List on your phone.

• Another VM customer offered this tip, 'I found a way to block numbers. Go to the VM website and download a ringtone that is nothing but silence. There are several of them.

Create a contact for the number you want to block and create a group called 'blocked' or something similar. Assign the contact to the blocked group and use the silent ringtone for the group. When you get a call from another number you want to block it's easy to save the number to a new contact and assign to the blocked group!'

• After receiving a call you can click 'Send to Voicemail' when you have a Samsung Montage, Samsung M575, Kyocera Kona, or Kyocera Brio.

Swap your Virgin Mobile phone online

If you're a current Virgin Mobile customer and you've bought a new phone, you'll need to do a phone swap to switch your mobile number to the new device. There is no charge to complete this transaction online.

Simply click here to log into My Account [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this web page] with your phone number and 6-digit PIN. Choose Swap Phones from the 'I Want To...' menu on the right of the Account Overview tab. Next, you will need to enter the ESN number from your new phone and follow the steps to complete the phone swap.

Other cell phone carriers have SPECIAL minutes for mobile-to-mobile, friends and family, night/weekends, etc. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any of the special minutes. Anytime minutes is a cellphone industry term for minutes you can use whenever you choose. Use these minutes at any time since Virgin Mobile doesn't have any minutes for special hours, weekends or nights.
