Questions & Answers for Broadband2Go

Question
Internet access w/o topping up?
I have a MiFi2200. Originally I topped up at the $20/mo rate. And have done so for a couple of months. This last time, 40 days have gone by. I thought I'd lose Internet when the 30 days expired. But I still have Internet access. I can search and download. My Account says 'No avail download MBs".

What am I not understanding about the $20/mo plan? Why do I still have Internet? Why should I top up each month for $20?

Am I just lucky that the Virgin Mobile computer isn't looking closely at my account to shut me off?

Check your network settings. Your computer may be getting data access via Wi-Fi from somebody else's hotspot and not from the MiFi.

Question
Explain how the new 4G plan works if you don't get 4G coverage
We don't get 4G in our area.
So what exactly would I get if I switched plans to the 4G ($55) besides 5GB of 3G vs 2.5?
Would I still be able to get unlimited access at a reduced speed? And the 10GB of 4G that I can't use, would I get that as 3G thus giving me 15GB? And would I still need the new device?

There are 3 Broadband2Go plans: $35 per month, $55 per month, and $5 per day.

• When you have a 3G device OR your 4G device is operating at 3G speed then:
   - You'll get 2GB of data at 3G speeds on the $35/month plan during your month.
   - You'll get 5GB of data at 3G speeds on the $55/month plan during your month.
   - You'll get 200MB of data at 3G speeds on the $5/day plan during your day.

No, unlimited data access is not available unless you have a 4G device operating in 4G mode.

You are misreading the chart. You get 500MB per month and you can "use it for" 24 hours (not necessarily consecutively) of web browsing...or opening 50,000 emails w/o attachments. Those are just examples of how much data 500MB uses.
