Click on the "Customer Reviews" tab above. You may find that movie playback will be choppy and that movies consume a lot of data. You'll run out of data or run up against the 2.5GB threshold very quickly.

Broadband2Go devices cannot provide web access when located outside the USA. Broadband2Go devices ONLY provide web access in the USA because they use the Sprint Nationwide Network which only extends throughout the US. The VMUSA BB2G devices do not roam across other networks either.

Virgin Mobile USA is part of Sprint Nextel. Sprint has broadband devices, too, albeit with contracts. However, the devices roam internationally and should work for you.

Your airline may provide in-flight wi-fi.

Question
How do I receive unlimited internet service with a 3G device?
I recently purchased a 3G/4G Broadband device and I thought it would be absolutely unlimited, but it's not. It's a 5GB meter scale. I'm an avid internet user and this plan doesn't work for me. How do I switch over to unlimited internet?

Top-Up using PayPal on My Virgin Mobile Account

You can use your PayPal account to pay for Top-Ups from your phone or from the Web. You can also set up Auto Top-Up on your PayPal account for pay by the minute plans.
But before you can use PayPal to Top-Up, you'll need to register your PayPal account as a payment option in My Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile answered your question in the FAQs:

Here's how to Top-Up using PayPal:

1. You'll need to have a PayPal account. Click here if you do not have a PayPal account.

2. Register PayPal as a payment option in My Virgin Mobile

3. Follow the link to complete the pre-approved payment agreement on the PayPal Web site.

4. That's it. Now you can Top-Up using your PayPal account - do it from your phone, on our Web site, or set up Auto Top-Up using your PayPal account.
http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/922

For step 2, you'll need to log into your account [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.]. On the Settings & Preferences tab, click on '// USE PAYPAL ACCOUNT'. You can start registering your PayPal account by following the prompts on this page.

Or click 'SUPPORT' at the top of this page and ask Virgin Mobile's Customer Care.

Depends on the Broadband2Go device. Obviously, the 3G devices can only go up to 3G speeds. The U600 has an indicator light. The Overdrive has a built-in LCD display. Use the Broadband2Go software to view your data usage.

No. The Broadband2Go plans are prepaid; you pay for your service at the beginning of the month or day before use it. There is no pay as you go plan for Broadband2Go.
