Your tablet must meet the System Requirements for one of the Broadband2Go devices below.

► SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Overdrive Pro
Your system needs a Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n or USB port just to CONNECT to the Overdrive Pro. To START your Virgin Mobile account and CONFIGURE the Overdrive Pro you need a Mac or Windows PC that meets the following System Requirements. Once you've created your Virgin Mobile account and configured your Overdrive Pro you should be able to access the web with any device using Wi-Fi or USB port.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Overdrive Pro
• Mac Requirements: Mac OS X, 10.4 & Higher G4/G5
• Windows* Requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
• Your Mac or Windows PC must be Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n enabled to connect to the Overdrive Pro OR have an available USB port.

Requirements for a USB Tethered Connection
Your device supports a direct connection through a USB cable to a Windows or Mac computer. (This is commonly referred to as a “tethered” connection.)
See page 26 in the Overdrive Pro user manual at http://www.virginmobileusa.com/resources/phones/prepaid/manual/OD-Pro-user-guide.pdf

Your Virgin Mobile account is setup using a browser window. The Overdrive Pro is also configured using a browser window. The Overdrive's device drivers will be downloaded to your Mac or Windows PC from the Overdrive. You must use a Mac or Windows PC to setup your Virgin Mobile account and configure the Overdrive.

Once you've created a Wi-Fi hotspot with your Overdrive you should be able to access the web with any Wi-Fi enabled device.

► SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - U600
The U600 should work with any system that meets the following System Requirements. If your system doesn't meet the System Requirements then consider the Overdrive Pro.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - U600
• Mac Requirements: Mac OS X, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7 only
• Windows* Requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
• Your Mac or Windows PC must have a USB port available to connect to the U600 device.

Your Virgin Mobile account is setup using a browser window. The U600 is also configured using a browser window. The U600's device drivers will be downloaded to your Mac or Windows PC from the U600. You must use a Mac or Windows PC to setup your Virgin Mobile account and configure the U600. The U600 can only be used by one Mac or Windows PC at a time. The U600 does not create a Wi-Fi hotspot.

See the U600 user manual at http://www.virginmobileusa.com/resources/phones/prepaid/manual/U600-Broadband2Go-User-Guide.pdf

Broadband2Go plans and the Broadband2Go Overdrive Pro and U600 work strictly within the USA.

The Broadband2Go Overdrive Pro and U600 use the Sprint Nationwide Network which only extends throughout the US, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The Broadband2Go Overdrive Pro and U600 do not roam across other networks either. For these reasons the Broadband2Go Overdrive Pro and U600 cannot provide web access when located outside the USA. There is no option to make the Broadband2Go Overdrive Pro and U600 work outside the USA.

► Before buying any 4G/3G Broadband2Go device you should check COVERAGE in your area on the top line of this webpage.

Follow the link at this FAQ: http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5679

Be sure to select 4G WiMAX or data coverage(3G) on the tool. The current Broadband2Go 4G/3G devices, U600 and Overdrive Pro, use the Sprint 3G
and 4G WiMAX data networks. 4G LTE not available for Broadband2Go at this time.

The Broadband2Go plans with a Broadband2Go device provides a MOBILE, wireless internet connection for laptops, notebooks, desktops or other computing devices. Broadband2Go is most useful when you need an internet connection on the road and away from home or the office. Some folks are using Broadband2Go to avoid using cables around the house, too.

It depends on your location.

Virgin Mobile answered your question in the 'FAQs':

Am I charged for taxes and other surcharges?
All of the Beyond Talk Plans are inclusive of taxes and surcharges. However, we collect sales taxes on all Top-Up transactions for all services that we process directly and, in certain states, we collect regulatory fees. Retailers are responsible for collecting sales taxes and, in some states, regulatory fees for Top-Up transactions that they process.

This question can be best answered by calling Broadband2Go Support. Click 'SUPPORT' at the top of this page to find the Broadband2Go phone number.

Web access will stop on your Broadband2Go device when you hit your 3G limit. If you haven't hit the end of your month(or day), 4G WiMAX data access will continue IF your 4G/3G device is in an area covered by Sprint's 4G WiMAX network.
