That depends on the features on your new and old phones. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any facilities to transfer contacts. Transferring contacts falls to the features of the sending and receiving phone such as VCF files, USB cable, microSD card, Bluetooth. Google Android and Apple iTunes accounts are also useful. Some phones let you transfer contacts, music, photos, etc. using USB cables, microSD card, Bluetooth, etc. There is no standard method between all brands/models. You may need to use a computer.

Yes it can be done by sd card or blue tooth, or if you have an android and you buy an android then google has your contacts stored
