This is not a special offer. This will not expire. The phone listed on the website are the phones that you can use. Additional phones that work on Sprint may work (check at the Virgin Mobile store)

Virgin Mobile occasionally changes their phones, devices and plans. Look for "Daily Mobile Hotspot" on the FEATURES & SPECS tab.

► You need the following to create a Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11):

     1. One of the Beyond Talk plans ($35, $45, or $55 per month)
     2. The $15 per month OR $5 per day Hotspot option in your Virgin Mobile account
     3. One of these Beyond Talk phones:
(uses 3G network only) Apple iPhone 4s, Kyocera Event
(uses 4G LTE and 3G networks) HTC Desire, Kyocera Hydro Vibe, LG Optimus F3, LG Volt, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy SIII,
                                                                 Samsung Galaxy Victory

Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on 'Change My Plan'. From there you can
see the plans and options that are available for your phone.

Minutes are not counted if you have either the $55/month Beyond Talk plan or the $40/month payLo plan. Otherwise, there are no free mobile-to-mobile, Virgin-to-Virgin, weekend or night calls for any Beyond Talk nor payLo plan. All calls, incoming & outbound, will be charged against your account according to your plan. The only exceptions are 911 and Virgin Mobile Customer Care calls.

Without contracts you don't have to worry about who you're calling, their phone type, calling lists, weekends, night or day nor any other restrictions or gimmicks that other phone companies have.

Question
what about long distance and roaming charges?

Ronnie

answer 1
There are no roaming charges because the phone will not roam. It uses the Sprint network and works
wherever Sprint has it's network. However, Sprint customers can roam on other networks as well, but Virgin
Mobile phones will only work inside the normal Sprint network areas.

From the FAQ'son this site:

Do monthly minutes expire?
If you're on one of our Beyond Talk Plans, any unused minutes will expire at the end of each month or when you switch plans. But as long as your monthly charge goes through, you'll start the next month with the same amount of minutes that you've signed up for.

Long distance calls use your anytime minutes only. Roaming is not available for any prepaid brand of Sprint, so you have to make sure that you are covered by the native Sprint network.

No. Minutes are not counted if you have either the $55/month Beyond Talk plan or the $40/month payLo plan.

Otherwise, minutes for calls within the US, incoming & outbound, will be deducted from your monthly allotment on your account according to your plan; there are no free mobile-to-mobile, Virgin-to-Virgin, weekend or night calls for any Beyond Talk nor payLo plan.

All the Beyond Talk plans include unlimited data and web access.

1. You can block all web access on your phone by clicking on 'SUPPORT' at the top of this page to contact Virgin Mobile's Customer Care. However, the Beyond Talk plans include web access and you cannot opt out of paying for the web access on these plans.

2. You can also block web access on some phones with Parental Controls. Apps are available elsewhere for parental controls for the Android, Apple and BlackBerry phones. Beyond Talk plans start at $35/month. Although you can disable web access you cannot optout of paying for web access.

3. See the Owner's Manuals for parental control features at: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/phone-manuals-guides
