How do I transfer my contact info from my old phone to my new phone?

That depends on the features on your new and old phones. Virgin Mobile doesn't have any facilities to transfer contacts. Transferring contacts falls to the features of the sending and receiving phone such as VCF files, USB cable, microSD card, Bluetooth. Some phones let you transfer contacts, music, photos, etc. using USB cables, microSD card, Bluetooth, etc. Syncing Google Android and Apple iTunes accounts are also useful. There is no standard method between all brands/models. You may need to use a computer.

Yes, if you run out of minutes before the end of your month you can keep talking for 10¢ for each additional minute. All calling services will stop if you use up all your minutes before the end of your month UNLESS you have money in your Virgin Mobile account. If you have money in your Virgin Mobile account THEN additional minutes cost 10¢ each.

To see or add to the balance in your Virgin Mobile account on your phone select MY ACCOUNT on the menu. You can also click TOP-UP at the top of this web page. Use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card(s), credit/debit card, or PayPal account to add money to your Virgin Mobile account before you need additional minutes.

Sorry, all the Beyond Talk AND payLo plans are month-to-month. You must start one of the Beyond Talk or payLo plans for service. All services on your plan end at the end of your month unless you continue services by Topping-Up your Virgin Mobile account with the dollar amount of your plan. There are currently no plans available for $5 per month. Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards are used to pay the amount of your plan or to add money to your account.

There are 6 plans available from Virgin Mobile. All plans from Virgin Mobile include Caller ID, Call Waiting, 3-Way Conference Calling(most phones), Call Forwarding(most phones), and Voicemail.

PAYLO PLANS
payLo is Virgin Mobile's value brand. There are 3 payLo plans for the payLo phones. All the payLo monthly plans will only work with the payLo phones. None of the payLo phones are smartphones.

Sorry, all the current Beyond Talk AND payLo plans are month-to-month. Near the end of your month you should get a Virgin Alert reminder that it's time to Top-Up. You can use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card, credit/debit card, or a PayPal account to pay for your next month of service. Select MY ACCOUNT on your phone or click TOP-UP at the top of this web page to start the process.

If you are worried about missing your payment date you can pay up to one month in advance.

EXPIRED BASIC RATE PLAN
The payLo Service Preserver Program is still available but only for those customers that still have the Basic Rate Plan. The payLo Service Preserver Program lets you keep your Virgin Mobile account active for one year without a payment. The Service Preserver Program does not provide any minutes, messages or web access. The Service Preserver Program can only be used with the Basic Rate plan and cannot be used with any other payLo or Beyond Talk plan. You still need to keep a balance in your account to use your phone according to your Basic Rate plan. The money you add to your account to qualify for Service Preserver Program is yours to pay for calling, texting, messages, web access, ringtones, etc.

Current customers with the Basic Rate plan active in an account will be grandfathered and can keep the plan until the plan is discontinued as long as they don't change plans or let their accounts expire. If a current customer with an active Basic Rate plan changes to a monthly plan($20, $30, or $40 per month) the Basic Rate plan will no longer be available to them.

Yes, you can send and receive text messages but they cost extra. The $20/month plan provides 400 minutes of domestic calling every month. That's all.

Text messages cost 15¢ each. Charges for text messages come out of your Virgin Mobile account. You must have money in your Virgin Mobile account BEFORE you can send or receive text messages. To see or add to the balance in your Virgin Mobile account on your phone select MY ACCOUNT on the menu. You can also click TOP-UP at the top of this web page. Use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card(s), credit/debit card, or PayPal account to add money to your Virgin Mobile account before you send/receive text messages.

NEW CUSTOMER
If you are a new customer to Virgin Mobile, all the current Beyond Talk AND payLo plans are month-to-month. To keep your calling, messaging, and data services working you must pay the entire amount of your monthly plan every month. There are currently no plans available that can be paid every 3 months.

EXISTING CUSTOMER
If you are currently a customer you may still have a Pay As You Go plan that was due every 3 months. You can check your payment amount and "Top-Up by" date on your phone by selecting MY ACCOUNT on the menu then select BALANCE+USAGE. You can also check your payment amount and "Pay by" date by clicking on MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this web page. Your payment amount is under the words NEXT MONTH'S CHARGE.

Sorry, no. Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA.

Virgin Mobile USA phones use the Sprint Nationwide Network which extends ONLY throughout the 48 U.S contiguous states, Hawaii, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The Virgin Mobile USA phones do not roam across other phone networks either. For these reasons the Virgin Mobile USA phones work strictly within the USA and when located outside the USA, will not send/receive calls or messages nor provide web access. There are no options available to use Virgin Mobile USA phones outside the USA.

Yes, the $40 per month payLo plan provides unlimited minutes for calls to any phone within the USA during your month of service. You also get unlimited text messaging with any phone within the USA. You can even send text messages to landline phones; your message will be read aloud for these phones. All plans from Virgin Mobile include Caller ID, Call Waiting, 3-Way Conference Calling(most phones), Call Forwarding(most phones), and Voicemail.

Only calls, incoming and receiving, are deducted from your minutes on the $30 per month plan. The 1,500 Messages on your plan include incoming and receiving text messages and picture messages.

payLo is Virgin Mobile's value brand. There are 3 payLo plans for the payLo phones. All the payLo monthly plans will only work with the payLo phones. None of the payLo phones are smartphones.
