Yes. Each phone will get its own account. Start a plan for each phone after you receive them by going to the top of this page and clicking on the word that begins with the letter "A". (VM won't let me say the word for some unknown reason.)

After your family leaves you don't have to keep paying for the plans unless you want. You can even keep the phones for their next visit and start new plans.

• The Beyond Talk and payLo plans only cover domestic calls and domestic messages with phones within the USA. You can still make international calls with
   any plan at additional cost.

• There are no international plans at Virgin Mobile.

• Receiving an international call takes your regular minutes but there are no additional charges to receive an international call.

• There are additional charges to MAKE international calls using any payLo plan. International calls are charged at the international per-minute rate for the
country you're calling PLUS your standard airtime rate(minutes). ►► For the international per-minute rate that you are calling, scroll down the payLo page to
'International Rates' then select the country's region in the 'Select A Region' menu.
    http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans/overview/#overview

So, you will need $$ in your Virgin Mobile account before making any international calls. Click 'Top-Up' at the top of this page to use a credit/debit card,
PayPal, or Virgin Mobile Top-Up card to put money into your Virgin Mobile account before sending an international call.

• International text messages cost 15¢ each, inbound and outbound. International picture messages are not available.

• Learn how to make international calls from your mobile phone

Make international calls the same way you would from any other phone. Dial 011 + the country code + the city code + the phone number.

Virgin Mobile's offer for the Basic Rate plan, also known as Pay As You Go, expired as of Jun. 24, 2013. The Basic Rate plan is no longer available to new customers nor to current customers wishing to switch plans.

Current customers with the Basic Rate plan active in an account will be grandfathered and can keep the plan until the plan is discontinued as long as they don't change plans or let their accounts expire. If a current customer with an active Basic Rate plan changes plan to a monthly plan($20, $30, or $40 per month) the Basic Rate plan will no longer be available to them.

Yes. See on the page where it says, "Made For These Phones"? That means that the payLo plans will work with these phones.
See the current payLo phones at: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans/overview/#overview

However, if you don't believe me, click 'Support' at the top of this page and ask Virgin Mobile's Customer Care via phone or email. You can dial *86 on your Virgin Mobile phone, too. You can also click LIVE CHAT on the left side of this web page, if available.

Question
Will Basic Rate Plan work with a new PayLo phone?
I have had the Basic Rate Plan for many years. I want to text with a phone that has a keyboard. If I buy a new PayLo phone (like the Kyocera Brio), will it work with the Basic Rate Plan when I swap phones or will I have to upgrade to a monthly PayLo rate?
