answer 1
No. Out of the three payLo plans the best plan for you is the $30/month Talk and Text plan with 1,500 minutes talk, 1,500 messages(text, email, IM, picture) and 30 mb of web access.

If that isn't enough then you'll need to get one of the Beyond Talk phones with a Beyond Talk plan.

Virgin Mobile answered your question in the FAQs:

After March 31st, 2014, you will no longer have the ability to access any of your email accounts through the Email (or Email+IM) application that was made available to many feature phones in the past. The Email+IM application was not included on newer payLo phones such as the Samsung Entro, Kyocera Brio, and Kyocera Kona.

This change only affects the following payLo feature phones. Beyond Talk Android and Apple iPhones are not affected.
• Kyocera Brio
• Kyocera S2100
• Kyocera S2300
• LG Rumor 2
• LG Rumor Touch
• LG 101
• LG LG200
• Samsung Montage
• Samsung Restore / M575

► System Update: 3 Way Calling
There's no additional charge to use the 3 Way Calling feature, however you'll be charged standard rates for both calls while you're connected to both calls.
For example, if you're on the Pay As You Go plan, and you're talking to a friend, you're being charged $0.10/min for that call. If you make a second call without dropping the first call (to use the 3 Way Calling feature), you'll be charged $0.20/min since you're on two calls at the same time ($0.10 per min, per call).
If you're on the Monthly plan with a limited number of minutes, a minute will be used for each call for each minute of talk time. http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5756/

• System Update: 3-Way Calling Supported Phones

The phones below will support 3-Way Calling:

Phone Date Available
iPhone (Virgin Mobile) Immediate

Samsung Galaxy SII (Virgin Mobile) 1Q13

http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5754
Note that you will need a Beyond Talk plan ($35, $45, or $55 per month) to use any of the above phones.
See the Beyond Talk plans and phones at: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/beyond-talk-plans/overview/#overview

• 3 Way Calling is not supported on any other Virgin Mobile, payLo, or Beyond Talk phones at this time.

► Only the Apple iPhones and Motorola Triumph phones for the Beyond Talk plans mention how to forward calls in their manuals.

Virgin Mobile answered your question in the FAQs:

System Update: Call Forwarding
There's no additional charge to use the Call Forwarding feature. Any forwarded call will just be charged according to your current service plan. http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5757

See your user manual at: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/phone-manuals-guides

I thought the same thing. However, I just called Virgin and the data (other than the 24hr basic rate) allocation expires after one month. I verified this on the payLo phone through account settings. When I selected "Change data settings" it gave me the plans and stated "Select a MONTHLY data plan", 24hr having an explicit exception.

I'm going to assume that you mean 30 megabytes of data on the $30 Talk & Text plan with 1500 minutes of talk time.

A megabyte is a 1,000,000 bytes or characters of data. 30,000,000 is a lot of data if you use your phone to browse text-only web sites. But most websites contain graphics and sounds which use a lot of bytes. If your phone browser displays all the graphics and sounds on a website then you are going to use your 30 megabytes faster. You'll probably enjoy your web experience more with graphics and sounds but at the expense of downloading lots of data (also, it takes more time). Fortunately, modern phone browsers have settings to turn off graphics and sounds while browsing. These settings will reduce the amount of data downloaded from the internet.

Virgin Mobile now takes trade-ins. When shopping for a phone on this website click on the GET PAID TO TRADE tab. Virgin Mobile doesn't automatically upgrade phones.

answer 2
Yes, you can upgrade to another Virgin Mobile phone at anytime.

Virgin Mobile phones are not necessarily interchangeable between the plans. Log into your account, Setting & Preference tab, Change Plan. From there you can see if a different plan is available for your phone.

Please note that I am temporary in the US. I have a BlackBerry and in my country I have pre paid card. I will stay app. 2 or 3 months in the US. Please let me know can I pay with cash the pre paid package without taking a new cell phone in your store. Actually my question is whether or not I can put that pre paid card in my Black Berry? or I have to buy a new cell phone in your store?

All of the Virgin Mobile USA plans are considered pre-paid because you pay for your service every month before using it.

The payLo plans require a payLo phone from Virgin Mobile USA. You can buy payLo phones on this website or at local stores which you can find by clicking on "Find Store" at the top of this page. Phones from other carriers or sources will not work with payLo plans.
http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans.jsp?tab=tab1

The Beyond Talk plans require a Beyond Talk phone from Virgin Mobile USA. You can buy Beyond Talk phones on this website or at local stores which you can find by clicking on Find Store at the top of this page. Phones from other carriers or sources will not work with Beyond Talk plans.

Note that Blackberry phones may be available at retail stores around the country and will work only with Beyond Talk plans.
http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/beyond-talk-plans.jsp

Yes, you can pay cash for the phones and plans by going to a retail store. Use cash to buy enough Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards to pay for your first month of service.
