If I purchase a PayLo phone at Target, will I be able to transfer my Verizon phone number to the new PayLo phone/account?
I currently have a Verizon phone and am considering switching to Virgin Mobile PayLo, but I would like to keep my current phone number.

Can I switch from PayLo to Beyond Talk and keep my PayLo Kyocera S2100 phone?
If I get a PayLo Kyocera S2100 phone and later want to switch to Beyond Talk, can I keep my Kyocera phone and phone number on the Beyond Talk plan?

No. The payLo phones like the Kyocera S2100 are not compatible with the Beyond Talk plans. If you decide to switch to a Beyond Talk plan then you will need to buy a Beyond Talk phone.

"Switching between Service Plans

Unless otherwise provided in these Terms of Service, you may switch current service plans, including between Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] and payLo. When you switch service plans, you will not receive a refund of any portion of any previously paid service charges and you will lose all of your remaining unused minutes, messages and/or data allotment. For that reason, if you are on a monthly plan, we recommend that you switch at the end of your monthly billing cycle, or after you have used your minutes, messages and/or data allotment. Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] and payLo accounts are maintained separately. If you switch between a Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] service plan and a payLo service plan, your Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] or payLo account (as applicable) may be closed and you may be given a new Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] or payLo account (as applicable), and you may not transfer the balance between your Virgin Mobile[Beyond Talk] account and your payLo account. Some service plans are available only on certain phones. Check www.virginmobileusa.com for details and options. Repeated switching is not permitted and may result in termination of service."

what about international text and calls ?
On the PayLo plan can you use your minutes to make long distance calls and send messages. Or what plan would you be able to make long distance calls or send text or their isn't any plan that could work

Look above the white line. You'll see the "International Rates" tab. Click on that. Also, look at the "FAQs" tab for more questions & answers. All of your questions are answered on those pages.

There are no long distance fees for domestic calls. Domestic means within the United States. Charges for domestic messages (text, picture, IM and email) depend on the plan that you choose.

International calls and messages cost extra for ALL plans. International calls are charged at the international per-minute rate for the country you're calling PLUS your standard airtime rate. There is an error on the International Rates tab. According to the Virgin Mobile payLo Terms of Service for all 3 payLo plans: International Text Messages: 20¢ to send and 10¢ to receive. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/legal/terms-of-service-paylo#basic_rate

You must have a positive balance in your account to make international calls or messages. Use a credit/debit card, PayPal account, or Top-Up card to add $$ to your account.

There are 3 payLo plans for the payLo phones. Pick the plan closest to your needs.

- Talk and Text plan...... $30/month.............1500 minutes talk...... 1500 messages(text, email, IM, picture)................... 30mb of web access
- Talk plan................... $20/month............. 400 minutes talk......... 15¢ each text msg........... 25¢ each picture msg.... $1.50/mb of web access
- Basic Rate plan......... $20 every 90 days.....20¢/minute talk...........15¢ each text msg........... 25¢ each picture msg.... $1.50/mb of web access

From the FAQs tab:
What happens if I run out of messages before the end of my month?
Additional texts, emails, and IMs are 15¢ each. Additional picture messages are 25¢ each. The cost will be deducted from your cash balance. Or, you can restart your plan at any time for $30.

Note: International text messages are not included in the payLo Talk and Text plan and are always charged at the basic rate of 15¢ each, deducted from your cash balance.

If you have a positive balance in your account then you're covered until your balance runs out. Messages(text, email, and IM) beyond your 1,500 cost 15¢/message; picture messages: 25¢/message.

If you don't have any money in your account they you'll need to Top-Up your account. You can Top-Up your account from this website or on your phone. Buy a Top-Up card, or pay with credit, debit, or a registered PayPal account.

Maybe. You didn't mention which phone you received.

You can find compatible phones on their website which can be found on this FAQ: http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3340. Then click on the FAQ tab on their website. Only the payLo phones from Virgin Mobile can use payLo plans due to compatibility issues.

==> If you're a current Virgin Mobile customer and you've bought a new phone, you'll need to do a phone swap to switch your mobile number to the new device. There is no charge to complete this transaction online.

Simply log into My Account with your phone number and 6-digit PIN. Choose Swap Phones from the 'I Want To...' menu on the right of the Account Overview tab. No. The LG Rumor Touch is a Beyond Talk phone. The payLo plans require a payLo phone from Virgin Mobile USA. You can buy payLo phones on this website or at local stores which you can find by clicking on Find Store at the top of this page. Phones from other carriers or sources will not work with payLo plans either.

Unfortunately, yes. Any incoming or outbound airtime is charged to your account according to your plan except 911 and Customer Care calls.
