Can you have more than one phone on the 20.00 per month plan?
I was told I can only have one phone on my existing plan. Am considering another phone in my household, do I have to purchase another plan? Can I put both phones on one plan?

You can have several phones on the $20/month plan. However, each will have its own account. Each account is identified by its phone number. There are no family plans here. It is not possible to add another line to any account nor share minutes. Each phone has its own account. When you buy another phone it will have its own account.

Can an Iphone be used on paylo $0.20 per minute plan?
Can I get my son an iphone to use on his per minute plan? I pay $20 every 90 days, unless he needs more. I don't want to buy a phone that can't be used on that plan because he doesn't use his phone that much.

Sorry, iPhones from other carriers won't work with Virgin Mobile payLo plans nor Beyond Talk plans. The Virgin Mobile payLo plans are not available when setting up the Apple iPhones from Virgin Mobile. Only the Beyond Talk plans are available when setting up the Apple iPhones from Virgin Mobile.

Depends which plan and phone you choose and where you are sending the picture. Your friend's phone & plan must be capable of receiving a picture message, too.

• Picture messages are part of the messages on all the Beyond Talk plans, the $40/month payLo plan, and $30/month payLo plan. You'll need money in your Virgin Mobile account in order to send/receive picture messages with either the $20/month plan or the Basic Rate plan; picture messages cost 25¢ each with either of these plans.

• The LG 101 phone does not have a camera. It is not capable of sending nor receiving pictures messages. Although the new Samsung Entro doesn't have a camera it can send and receive picture messages, depending on your plan. All the other payLo and Beyond Talk phones can send/receive picture messages, depending on your plan.

• You can only send and receive picture messages in the United States. International picture messages are not available.

None of the monthly payLo plans ($20, $30, and $40 per month) have rollover minutes. Minutes don't rollover with the Beyond Talk plans either. 'Unused monthly services, including, but not limited to, plan minutes, messages or data allotments, expire at the end of each month or when a customer switches service plans and do not carry forward.' Use them or lose them.

The Basic Rate plan, the only Pay As You Go plan currently available, costs $20 every 90 days; that $20 is added to your phone account. Charges for talk, messages, and web access are deducted from your account as you go.Talk for 20¢/minute, 15¢ each text msg, 25¢ each picture msg, and $1.50/mb of web access. ►Any amount left in your account at the end of 90 days is carried forward to the next period.◄ The payLo Basic Rate plan can be used by any payLo phone.

When you start your new payLo phone you'll be prompted to select one of the plans. If you don't see the Basic Rate plan then click on 'Don't see the plan you are looking for? Click here.' The payLo Basic Rate plan will be at the bottom.

• The payLo plans are only available when setting up a payLo phone from Virgin Mobile USA.

Virgin Mobile occasionally changes their plans, phones and devices. The text packages are gone, dropped several years ago. Virgin Mobile offers the Beyond Talk and payLo plans at this time. Expired plans are not available to new users. You'll find several expired plans described in the Terms of Service.

You get 50MB with the $40/month Unlimited Talk & Text plan. Addition internet access and data is $1.50/MB and comes out of your Virgin Mobile account.

Yes.

To disable incoming text messages, click MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page. Go to the Phone Apps & More tab. Click Edit Message Settings. From there you can enter up to 10 phone or email addresses to block. Or you can select Disable Incoming Text Messages. However, choosing this option will block all incoming text messages sent to your phone... even international texts. This means you will not be able to receive text messages on your phone, except for Virgin Alert service messages. If you disable incoming text messages and then sign up for any text service from Virgin Mobile (like Joke of the Day) or from a third party other than Virgin Mobile, text messaging will not be automatically turned back on. That means you won't receive messages until you switch incoming text messages back on by yourself.

with the $20 a month plan, when i send a text message does the 15 cent come out of the $20 top up card i added?

The $20/month payLo plan only provides 400 minutes every month. That's it. Messages and web access cost extra.

Click "Top-Up" on this page to add money to your payLo account in any amount between $10 and $120 with a Top-Up card, credit/Debit Card, or PayPal Account. You can also hit the UP navigation button on your cell phone. Money for your text messages will then come out of your payLo account.
