The payLo plans require a payLo phone from Virgin Mobile USA. Phones from other carriers will not work with payLo plans.

You need $$ in your Virgin Mobile account before making any international calls. Click 'Top-Up' at the top of this page to use a credit/debit card, PayPal, or Virgin Mobile Top-Up card to put money into your Virgin Mobile account before sending an international call. Or hit the UP navigation key on your phone to start the process.

International calls are charged at the international per-minute rate for the country you're calling PLUS your standard airtime rate. Scroll down the Beyond Talk or payLo plan page to 'International Rates' then select the country's region in the 'Select A Region' menu for the international per-minute rate.

For all Beyond Talk and payLo plans, inbound and outbound international text messages cost 15¢ each. International picture messages are not available.

That is a common misconception. Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards don't add minutes. Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards are used to add money to your Virgin Mobile account.

• You can pay for your monthly service on your phone or on this website by using a credit/debit card, PayPal account, or Virgin Mobile Top-Up card.

• When you run out of minutes before the end of your month, additional minutes for the payLo monthly plans are 10¢ each. Charges for additional minutes come out of your Virgin Mobile account. Use a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card(s), credit/debit card, or PayPal account to add money to your Virgin Mobile account before you run out of minutes.

To see or add to the balance in your Virgin Mobile account on your phone select MY ACCOUNT on the menu or click TOP-UP at the top of this page. Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards are one way to pay for your payLo, Beyond Talk, or Broadband2Go plan every month. Top-Up cards are available at retail stores and elsewhere online.

After you buy your Top-Up cards you enter the Top-Up card info on your phone by selecting MY ACCOUNT or on this site by clicking TOP-UP at the top of this webpage.

I want to upgrade plan but the system won't let me for another 60 days, why?
I want to go from the paylo basic to $30 per month talk/text plan but every time I try to switch my account page says it will not take affect for another 60 days even though I am about out of money in my account. So then I have to top up again with out being able to swith plans and then the switch puts me even farther out. Why does this happen?

Sorry, the Virgin Mobile payLo plans are not available when setting up the Apple iPhones from Virgin Mobile. Only the Beyond Talk plans are available when setting up the Apple iPhones from Virgin Mobile. iPhones from other carriers won't work with Virgin Mobile payLo plans nor Beyond Talk plans.

Change your existing Virgin Mobile phone number
You can change your current Virgin Mobile phone number for a $10.00 fee. Simply log into My Account, go to the Settings & Preferences section, select Change Phone from the right-hand navigation and walk through the guided steps.

Important Info to Remember:

- You will be charged $10.00 from your cash balance to complete this phone number change.
- Once you change your Virgin Mobile phone number, you cannot get your old phone number back.
- You're only allowed to change your phone number once every 24 hours using our website.
