Sorry, that's not how the plans work. You need to pay the full amount of your payLo plan every month to continue the services on your plan. All services will stop at the end of your month if Virgin Mobile doesn't receive payment. A partial payment of $10 won't extend your service past your month.

You'll get the ▼Monthly Talk Minutes▼ for the payLo plan that you choose. Additional minutes cost 10¢ each if you run out of minutes BEFORE the end of your month of service. Select MY ACCOUNT on your phone to see your next "PAY BY" date.

The payLo Service Preserver Program lets you keep your Virgin Mobile account active for one year without a payment. The Service Preserver Program does not provide any minutes, messages or web access. The Service Preserver Program can only be used with the Basic Rate plan and cannot be used with any other payLo or Beyond Talk plan. You still need to keep a balance in your account to use your phone according to your Basic Rate plan. The money you add to your account to qualify for Service Preserver Program is yours to pay for calling, texting, messages, web access, ringtones, etc.

► System Update: Service Preserver Program
     • Monthly Plan Customers: Effective 12/31/12, Monthly Plan customers will no longer be eligible for the $90 Service Preserver offering.
     • Pay As You Go Customers: Effective 12/31/12, Pay As You Go Plan customers who want to take advantage of the Service Preserver offering must
add the $90 to their account all at one time (in one single transaction).
       http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5745

► The payLo Basic Rate plan is the only Pay As You Go plan currently available. Due to the recent plan changes, it is no longer described on the web
pages but it is still available.
     http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5676

The Basic Rate plan costs $20 every 90 days; that $20 is added to your phone account. Charges for talk, messages, and web access are deducted
from your account as you go.Talk for 20¢/minute, 15¢ each text msg, 25¢ each picture msg, and $1.50/mb of web access. Any amount left in your
account at the end of 90 days is carried forward to the next period. The payLo Basic Rate plan can be used by any payLo phone.

When you start your new payLo phone you'll be prompted to select one of the plans. If you don't see the Basic Rate plan then click on 'Don't see the
plan you are looking for? Click here.' The payLo Basic Rate plan will be at the bottom.

Sorry, no. The payLo plans only cover domestic calls and domestic messages. There are additional charges to make international calls using any payLo plan(no additional charge to receive an international call). International calls are charged at the international per-minute rate for the country you're calling PLUS your standard airtime rate. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans/overview/#overview

Virgin Mobile USA and Boost Mobile are part of the Sprint Prepaid Group of Sprint. Boost Mobile has international plans.

Sorry, no. The current Beyond Talk phones will not work with Assurance Wireless plans. Currently, only the HTC Evo V, Samsung Galaxy S II and both Apple iPhones, which are all Beyond Talk phones, using a Beyond Talk plan and the $15/month Hotspot option can create a Mobile Hotspot.
http://www.virginmobileusa.com/shop/cell-phones/#/sort_love/view_grid/feature_hotspot/

All the payLo phones are compatible with the Assurance Wireless plans. None of the payLo phones can be used with a Beyond Talk plan and the $15/month Hotspot option.

You can buy Virgin Mobile USA phones on this website, elsewhere online, or at a local store. It doesn't matter where you buy the phone as long as it is one of the payLo phones mentioned.
See the current payLo phones at:         http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/paylo-plans/overview/#overview

Click 'Find a Store' at the top of this page for nearby stores that sell Virgin Mobile phones.

You can find other answers on the Assurance Wireless website which can be found on this FAQ: http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3340. Then click on the FAQ tab on their website.

For the most accurate answer click 'SUPPORT' at the top of this page and ask Virgin Mobile's Customer Care.
