Swap your Virgin Mobile phone online

If you're a current Virgin Mobile customer and you've bought a new phone, you'll need to do a phone swap to switch your mobile number to the new device. There is no charge to complete this transaction online.

Simply click here to log into My Account [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this web page] with your phone number and 6-digit PIN. Choose Swap Phones from the 'I Want To...' menu on the right of the Account Overview tab. Next, you will need to enter the ESN number from your new phone and follow the steps to complete the phone swap.

Customers who purchase a Blackberry phone must complete the phone swap with a Live Advisor at 1-888-322-1122, with no additional cost.

Buy the payLo phone. Then do a phone swap from your Beyond Talk phone to the payLo phone. You'll be prompted to change plans.

Looking for new phone
Hello I currently have a Lifeline prepaid phone through assurance wireless I pay $20.00 a month for the 1,000 talk mins. & 1,000 text a month. I want to get a new phone but I want to make sure that my current plan will transfer to the phone I want. I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE will my plan work with this phone?

Good thing you asked before buying. The Samsung Galaxy S III is an Android phone. The Assurance Wireless plans are not available on Android phones.

After Virgin Mobile receives your payment you should receive a Virgin Alert(free text message) saying that they received payment. If you didn't receive a Virgin Alert you should contact them.

Yes, you can easily change from one payLo plan to another payLo plan but there are some things that you need to know before switching plans. Here is your answer from the Help FAQs at http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com

You can change plans as your needs change as long as your account is active. And you will lose any unused minutes when you switch plans. So it's a good idea to use up all your minutes before you make the switch, according to the Help FAQs. Note that you will not be able to return to any expired plan (no longer offered) if you decide to change plans.

Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on 'Change My Plan'. From there you can see the plans that are available for your phone and change it, if necessary.

What are the taxes and fees on the $30.00 mo. ? What is my total?
**What would my total be if I did the $20.00 monthly plan?

** How does the $.15 per text work? Is it subtracted from my $20. total or in addition to and I am billed for it? I want to top up so let me know as soon as you can.

You're charged sales tax on Top-Ups, purchases of equipment and accessories, and shipping & handling charges where required by law. The amount of tax is based on the billing address of the debit/credit card or PayPal account you use.

I want to get my wife a cell phone, and I already have the $40 dollar unlimited talk and text plan. Is there a way to get another cell phone, and have it also covered under my existing plan?

Sorry, there are no family plans here. It is not possible to add another line to any account nor share minutes. Each phone has its own account.

► Virgin Mobile's offer for the Basic Rate plan, also known as Pay As You Go, expired as of Jun. 24, 2013. The Basic Rate plan is no longer available to new customers nor to current customers wishing to switch plans.

Current customers with the Basic Rate plan active in an account will be grandfathered and can keep the plan until the plan is discontinued as long as they don't change plans or let their accounts expire. If a current customer with an active Basic Rate plan changes to a monthly plan($20, $30, or $40 per month) the Basic Rate plan will no longer be available to them.
