I have an HTC One V would it work with a payLo plan?
I'm looking to just using my phone for minutes and getting rid of most of my web access and this plan looks great, I just don't want to have to buy a new phone.

• The payLo plans are only available when setting up a payLo phone from Virgin Mobile USA.

• Phones from other carriers will not work with payLo plans.

Yes, there a few extra cost options available for the Assurance Wireless plans.

► UNLIMITED Talk, Text, and Web
     Add $30 each month to your Assurance Wireless account.

► 1000 Minutes and 1000 Texts
     Add $20 each month to your Assurance Wireless account.
     Get 250 Free Minutes & 250 Free Texts + 750 Minutes & 750 Texts

►  500 Minutes and 500 Texts
     Add $5 each month to your Assurance Wireless account.
     Get 250 Free Minutes & 250 Free Texts + 250 Minutes & 250 Texts

     • To see or add to the balance in your Assurance Wireless account on your phone select MY ACCOUNT on the menu or click TOP-UP at the top
          of this page. Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards are one way to add money your Assurance Wireless account. Top-Up cards are available at retail stores

If I pay for the $20.00 pkg. do I have to pay for any web access? I will not need to use the web access because I have another phone I can use
All I want is to get is minutes for talking and texting.

Web access is turned off by default on the $20 plan. Your Virgin Mobile account will be charged $1.50 per mb only if you turn on web access for the internet or GPS.

The $20 per month plan provides 400 minutes every month. Anything else costs extra. Text costs 15¢ each. Web access is $1.50 per mb.

Before making any changes you should check your Call History and find out how many minutes you used in the past 60 days.

All Virgin Mobile plans include a Virgin Mobile account. Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on VIEW HISTORY FOR - CALLS. You'll be able to see up to 60 days of call history. You'll be able to see Date/Time, To/From, Duration, Total Minutes Used, etc. Add up the Total Minutes Used for the past 60 days. You can also check your text messages and web access.

If you used over 400 minutes per month then the $20 per month plan probably won't be a good fit. Or if you sent/received around 67 text messages, then you would've spent the $10 difference between the $20 and $30 plan.

If you're a current Virgin Mobile customer and you've bought a new phone, you'll need to do a phone swap to switch your mobile number to the new device. There is no charge to complete this transaction online.

Simply click here to log into My Account [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this web page] with your phone number and 6-digit PIN. Choose Swap Phones from the 'I Want To...' menu on the right of the Account Overview tab. Next, you will need to enter the ESN number from your new phone and follow the steps to complete the phone swap.

Customers who purchase a Blackberry phone must complete the phone swap with a Live Advisor at 1-888-322-1122, with no additional cost.

Buy the payLo phone. Then do a phone swap from your Beyond Talk phone to the payLo phone. You'll be prompted to change plans.

Looking for new phone
Hello I currently have a Lifeline prepaid phone through assurance wireless I pay $20.00 a month for the 1,000 talk mins. & 1,000 text a month. I want to get a new phone but I want to make sure that my current plan will transfer to the phone I want. I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE will my plan work with this phone?

Good thing you asked before buying. The Samsung Galaxy S III is an Android phone. The Assurance Wireless plans are not available on Android phones.

After Virgin Mobile receives your payment you should receive a Virgin Alert(free text message) saying that they received payment. If you didn't receive a Virgin Alert you should contact them.

Yes, you can easily change from one payLo plan to another payLo plan but there are some things that you need to know before switching plans. Here is your answer from the Help FAQs at http://virginmobileusa.custhelp.com

You can change plans as your needs change as long as your account is active. And you will lose any unused minutes when you switch plans. So it's a good idea to use up all your minutes before you make the switch, according to the Help FAQs. Note that you will not be able to return to any expired plan (no longer offered) if you decide to change plans.

Log into your account. [MANAGE MY ACCOUNT at the top of this page.] On the Account Overview tab click on 'Change My Plan'. From there you can see the plans that are available for your phone and change it, if necessary.

What are the taxes and fees on the $30.00 mo. ? What is my total?
**What would my total be if I did the $20.00 monthly plan?

** How does the $.15 per text work? Is it subtracted from my $20. total or in addition to and I am billed for it? I want to top up so let me know as soon as you can.

You're charged sales tax on Top-Ups, purchases of equipment and accessories, and shipping & handling charges where required by law. The amount of tax is based on the billing address of the debit/credit card or PayPal account you use.
